Injectables in Andover, MA, With a Light Hand and a Medical Director Behind Every Plan

Maybe you had Botox somewhere else and spent three months looking surprised. Or maybe you’ve wanted it for a year and keep closing the tab because you’re afraid of looking frozen.

Either way, you want to look like yourself on a good day, and you want to know who is holding the needle. At Level Up Med Spa, every injectable is performed under the supervision of Dr. MaryAnn Millar, M.D., our Medical Director, and we start small on purpose.

A consultation here is a conversation, not a sales pitch. If a treatment isn’t right for you, we’ll tell you.

Every Injectable Does a Different Job, So Your Plan Starts With Your Goal

A lot of people call anything injected into the face “Botox.” In reality, each injectable we offer works in its own way and fixes its own problem. That’s why your visit starts with a look at your face or your goal rather than a treatment menu.

Your Botox and filler are done by our certified nurse injector, who worked as an operating room nurse before joining us. You’ll hear what each option can and can’t do before you decide anything.

Because we’re a nonsurgical practice, nobody here will steer you toward a scalpel. Injectables are one part of the aesthetic services we offer from our Andover office on Central Street.

Botox Injections Are Where Most People Start, and We Start Small

Botox softens the lines that form when you move your face, such as forehead lines, the 11s between your brows, and crow’s feet. It works by quieting the muscle underneath, and the effect lasts about three to four months.

You’ll start to see a change within a few days, and it settles in fully around the two-week mark. Most people go back to work the same afternoon.

If you’re new, you can ask for a light dose. That’s a normal request, and we’ll say yes. The same goes for anyone switching from another med spa after a result that felt too heavy, so tell us what you didn’t like last time. Your injector will watch how your face moves before a single unit goes in, and we’ll go over dosing and timing for your botox injections at your visit.

Dermal Fillers Put Back the Volume That Botox Can't Reach

Thinner lips, flatter cheeks, and deeper folds from your nose to your mouth come from lost volume rather than movement. That’s the job filler does. Most fillers are made from hyaluronic acid, a substance your body already makes, and you can see the change before you leave.

Depending on the area, results tend to last anywhere from six months to over a year. Filler is where the “obviously done” look usually happens, which is why we go slow and would rather add a little at a second visit than overfill at the first.

It also helps to know that hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved if you don’t like it. Lips, cheeks, and smile lines each get their own plan, and we’ll walk you through your options for dermal fillers before any injections.

IV Vitamin Infusions at Our Andover Office Skip the Digestion Step

A vitamin pill has to get through your gut before it does anything, and your body doesn’t absorb all of it. An IV bypasses that step by delivering fluids, vitamins, and minerals directly into a vein. You relax in a chair while the drip runs, and most sessions take under an hour.

People usually book one after a draining week, during a hard stretch of training, or when they just feel run down. We’ll be straight with you about what it can do, since an IV is support and not a cure. It doesn’t replace seeing your doctor when you’re sick.

Before your first drip, we review your health history to ensure it’s a safe fit. From there, we can talk through which IV vitamin infusions match your goals.

Dysport Is a Second Wrinkle Relaxer, and Some Foreheads Do Better With It

Not everyone’s muscles respond to Botox the same way, which is where Dysport comes in. It softens the same lines, but it spreads a little differently and often kicks in a day or two sooner. So if Botox hasn’t held as long as you’d like, it’s worth asking whether dysport injections might suit you better.

PRP Hair Restoration in Andover Uses Your Own Blood to Work on Thinning Hair

Thinning hair isn’t only a men’s problem, and it isn’t something you just have to accept. PRP starts with a small blood draw, which we spin to separate out the platelets. Those platelets are then injected into the thinning areas of your scalp, usually over a series of sessions about a month apart.

PRP tends to work best while hair follicles are still active. That’s why we look at your hair first and give you an honest answer about whether it’s worth your money. It all starts with a private consultation about prp hair restoration.

Common Questions About Injectables

Most people describe it as a quick pinch that lasts only a few seconds. Many fillers also contain a numbing agent. If you're nervous, tell your injector, and she'll go at your pace.

You often can with Botox. Many people have their consultation and treatment in the same visit, so they only have to work up the nerve once. Filler, IV therapy, and PRP may need a little more planning, and you're always free to go home and think it over.

That depends on the med spa, so it's worth asking a few questions wherever you book. Find out who will be injecting you, what license that person holds, and whether a physician oversees the work. We'll answer all three for you at your consultation.

Injectables here are cash-pay, and we don't accept insurance. We take cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Cherry financing is available if you'd like to spread the cost over monthly payments.

Bring your questions, even the ones that feel silly. We’ll answer every one before anything happens.
